Meet the Coaches of Stax Baseball Stars Series One! The Baseball Stars League is full of a cast of characters and that most definitely includes the coaches! Each coach has a certain way with the players but they all have one thing in common. They love the game of baseball! They all bring a unique perspective to the game and they are a great addition to the Stax Trading Card baseball cards.

CAPPY COD- New England Lobstahs Head Coach

A little on the grumpy side, this weathered old coach has a passion for the sport of baseball! In his younger days, he was a deep sea fisherman and his love of the sea is second only to his love of America's past time. He may seem tough, rough and gruff but he manages to get the best out of his players! He commands the New England Lobstahs with the steady hands of a ship captain and is able to steer them through the troubled waters of the baseball season!

SAUL T. WATERS - California Rolls Head Coach

While not coaching the California Rolls, Saul T. Waters can be found diving for treasure and scoping out tropical fish under the waves of the Pacific Ocean and other waters around the world. His style of coaching tends to be more along the line of observing quietly and stepping in to correct when necessary. His perceptive ability allows him to correct field and player changes quick like a shot out of a spear gun!

NATE POLES RINKLES - Florida Reptiles Head Coach

Here we have Nate Poles Rinkles from the retirement capital of Florida, sunny Naples! Nate's skin is like an old leather book and that is just the way he likes it! Nate works on his tan on and off the field and with the sun shining down as much as it does in the Sunshine State, Nate is in his glory! His intelligence about the game of baseball is as bright as the sun and he has a way of picking stars!

POKEY SUGIARO - Arizona Rattlesnakes Head Coach

Pokey Sugiaro is as sharp as a tack when it comes to the ins and outs of the game of baseball. When critiquing and coaching his players, he gets right to the point and lets them know what he expects out of them! When going over the plans before each game, there is never a dull moment!

ARCHIE GATEWAY - Midwest Cow Tippers Head Coach

Archie Gateway is a calm and quiet man and he has a great respect for the game of baseball. His appreciation for the history of the game and his eye for future prospects bridges the gap between past and present. East meets West in his blended style of management. All the players on Archie's team appreciate his ability to see both sides of an argument .

MINTON COYNE - Pennsylvania Groundhogs Head Coach

Life is an adventure for the coach of the Pennsylvania Groundhogs! He is always on the hunt for treasures and he has a knack for finding that diamond in the rough, both on his treasure hunts and in his ball players! Minton Coyne has a keen ability to detect change in the flow of the game and he has the ability to see a problem through to the end.
